Primary Beginning Interest French
Our Curriculum
Our primary French curriculum develops students' understanding of the French language as they explore the vocabulary, culture, traditions, and spoken sounds. Students will learn to communicate effectively in French as they practice responding to questions and a range of other media. Listening exercises and written text analysis activities help children to understand the pronunciation and structure of the French language.
We aim to foster a love for the French language as students build their confidence in speaking and reading French. Learning a new language at an early age is also beneficial for students' further education as the subject can be continued through secondary school and sixth form.
