Primary Geography

Our Curriculum

Our primary geography curriculum focuses on enabling students to develop a well-rounded understanding of the wider world as they explore different environments, weathering, natural disasters, climates, biomes, and natural resources on a global scale.

Students will build their confidence in locating and recognising countries as they develop geographical skills, including mapping, data collection and organisation, and fieldwork. Geography enables learners to become confident in their geographical abilities as they gain locational knowledge by locating and naming the world's countries, including the UK, by the use of maps, and by studying the latitudes and hemispheres.
