Primary Design, Technology, and Engineering
Our Curriculum
Our primary school Design, Technology, and Engineering (DTE) is available for upper KS2 (Years 5-6). Our curriculum encourages children to become creative thinkers, problem-solvers, and confident makers. Through hands-on projects and practical challenges, pupils learn how to design, build, test, and improve their ideas while developing valuable technical and life skills.
Students explore how things work, experiment with materials, and learn basic engineering principles in a fun and accessible way. From simple structure to moving models, children are encouraged to think imaginatively, work collaboratively, and develop resilience by learning from testing and refining their designs.
