Primary Beginning Interest German
Our Curriculum
Our primary German curriculum develops students' understanding of the German language as they explore the vocabulary, culture, traditions, and spoken sounds. Students will learn to communicate effectively in German as they practice responding to questions and a range of other media. Listening exercises and written text analysis activities help children to understand the pronunciation and structure of the German language.
We aim to foster a love for the German language as students build their confidence in speaking and reading German. Learning a new language at an early age is also beneficial for students' further education as the subject can be continued through secondary school and sixth form.
